Visual Story Network

Most of us know that the odds of making it in Hollywood are pretty close to the odds of winning the lottery. It is my opinion that film festivals are the way to go. What are some that you know of that promote the cause of the Gospel?

The reason I ask is because I don't think there are very many. I have attached a link to one I am aware of, this one helps young filmmakers by giving them an opportunity at a degree at a Christian film school: http://reeldreamsfilmfest.com

Bam! Thanks Travis!!
Here are two more that I didn't see listed:

http://www.grfilmfestival.com (family oriented)
http://www.bciff.com/home.html - Bayou City Inspirational Film Festival, Houston
(Not exclusively Christian, I don't believe. Part of their mission is to "provide awareness to the world about the variety of educational, inspirational and positive works available and the need to integrate more of these types of works into society.")

http://www.trulymovingpictures.org/FilmFestival/Pages/default.aspx - Heartland Film Festival, Indianapolis
(Not exclusively Christian, I don't believe, but "films that celebrate the positive aspects of life")

http://www.christianfilmfest.org/ - Phoenix International Christian Film Festival, Phoenix

http://www.christianfilmfest.org/ - Phoenix International Christian Film Festival, Phoenix, Arizona (The Submissions webpage states: "PICFF will not accept, consider or screen films containing any form of nudity, sexual acts, profanity, or gratuitous violence. Films condoning racism, illicit activity or cruelty will not find a place in this festival. PICFF reserves the full and complete right to make its determination regarding values-based rejections, including rejections for patently offensive material as measured by Christian community standards, and material that may not rise to a level of obscenity."

http://www.moonlightfilmfest.com/drupal/mff - Moonlight Film Festival, Leesburg, Virginia
(The Entry Form states: "The Moonlight Film Fest exists to encourage the creation of excellent films that portray beauty, truth, and goodness. . .We do not want to see films that include on-screen nudity or unnecessary profanity or violence.")
