Visual Story Network

In conversation with Dr. Olabimtan, a mission leader in Nigeria, he is looking into ways to reach the youth (age 15-25) with the gospel (cross cultural situation) and 2. help them learn marketable skills. There is internet there, and all the kids have cell phones. Is there anyone who can help him? Resources? Apps? I will send him the link to this discussion. Thank you.

Kehinde,

I just discovered a very long list under "Resources" and then click on "wiki"

Kirsten-As it turns out I'm going to Nigeria in Sept. I wonder if he will be at the African-wide conference in Abuja?  MANI Consultation 2011  I'm preparing to teach using art in missions/contextualizing art/the gospel for missions. Is this the African who was at the Overseas Missions Study Center in New Haven?

He is one of them. There was also a man from Ghana.

I have his Kehinde's email. Would you like it?

Yes-I'll email him. thanks.

Another question. Do I go ahead and ask the people in the Visual arts group to be my friend to start connecting with them? Perhaps there is no conversation til one does this?

thanks for emailing him....need to work on Rahab!

I do have some ideas perking for filming now....

I'll friend the art people later....

My focus is on building on-line training (e-learning) for Children / Youth - let me know if you need assistance.

Kirsten,

Look up Patrick Anyanwu under members.

He is part of a creative mission in Nigeria and they may have some good resources.
