I'm writing to ask for the community's input on any good books, websites, etc. that you either read/follow yourselves or recommend to newbies like myself to help grow in our videmaking abilities.
I'm trying to progress from complete videomaking novice-dom to get to a point where I can make engaging outreach videos intended for mobile phone screens (3" screens are a lot more forgiving than the cinema). I'm not just doing this for myself but for other missionaries and local believers out amongst the unreached and want to focus on the use of equipment they already have on hand- mobile phones, pocket point and shoot type cameras, and flip style pocket video cameras. I will document the process and my progress via the Misadventures in Mobile Media series at Mobile Advance and hope it provides inspiration for others to come along and take their first steps in video creation.
Thanks for your advice on good books, websites, etc. that you yourselves use or would recommend to newbies like myself.

In my own very recent and pretty short study on visual story and video production I've come across hundreds of websites relating to the subject and here's a top 25 I'd recommend others newbies check out as they seem to have the most helpful and approachable resources (articles, videos, etc.). I'd love if anyone else could share some of their favorites which they would recommend video newbies and amateurs check out or follow.
