- I'm an English Lit. major who spent the majority of my early professional life doing interactive design and development. This included everything from web design to database development, back-end programming to Flash design. These days, I work on a team called Innovation. Our role at OneHope is to explore new ways of accomplishing mission, particularly when technology is involved.

Rich Sheeley said… - I started using the chart after being in a workshop lead by Phill Butler in Sheffield England in 1989. The organization Phill started and was with then, Interdev, had partnered with another major organization (I'm pretty sure it was World Vision) to do this research. I do not have a copy of the study. Since then additional research has been done and they revised the chart a bit. The current version is in Phill's latest book, Well Connected published by Authentic Media, copyright 2005. This book actually discusses the chart very little. You would need to contact the publisher about using the chart within Book of Hopes network.
