We're working through Brethren Entertainment (based out of Seattle) to manage the project, plus they have people on the ground (Christians) in Japan to work with the animators and director. There's a chance I'll return to Japan in 09 for the next Church Planting Institute event, but there's nothing definite. I'm getting more interested in the film side of media since becoming involved with the VSN, but my focus is still interactive emerging technologies.

Our new benefactor at ORU in Tulsa htttp://www.oru.edu runs a film company http://www.everytribe.com/Movies/EndOfTheSpear.aspx , so I see us stepping up beyond our history of involvement with the LA Film Studies Center http://lafsc.bestsemester.com/overview.asp where we send students for a Hollywood experience in their senior year. We've always taught TV/video, but never film on campus.

How can I get up to speed on your recent projects that might involve students in Japan?
