Edinburgh Summit Highlights - Tom's POV - updated 4/13

Wednesday, April 13 - Day One

We just wrapped up our first day with a showcase of projects by some of the organizations represented at the Summit. It was a great example of many different ways visual story can be used. We saw movie trailers, short narrative films, prayer videos, how-to training videos...you name it. But that was just kind of like dessert (after a great meal in town.)

Here are some of the highlights from our first official day together (as I see… Continue

Hey Tom, good to get your massage . We do both tv shows and film, with story background of East African. We also carry out Tv and Film marketing for other productions in the region. Being a christian we work on project that indirectly preach love, peace, justice and anti-corruption...these are issue most people in Africa don't wish to talk about so in my society i try so had to make a difference with my talent...I also try to fund raise for project by different young talented filmmakers who trying to make a difference  too. (I enjoy creating jobs for young guys through new media skills)

we create as many project as we can so that we give most young guys opportunity to work and to feel hope to practicing their skills.

Recently we are looking for funds for a 65minute fiction film set in Uganda about  forgotten war zone and the drama in aids organizations as they trying to help themselves instead of people they collect funds for. The film budget is of about 11,300 dollars and i thank God that lots of Professional friends from Canada,Belgium,India,Kenya and Uganda have read the script and are will to volunteer in production and post production.

if you are going to be in Arusha, we will meet. Am volunteering to work with Jeremy on the upcoming projects.  thanks
