Want to come be a missionary and work in media? Pamoja Ministries has a place for you! Located in Arusha, Tanzania, we are in the center of Africa, and we are discipling cultures through media. We've released Nipe Jibu, the first full-length Swahili musical, and we're creating the first Swahili financial literacy curriculum - a 13-part animated series with comic book notes.

We need people like you to come, whether your strength is in directing, producing, holding a camera, editing, animation, music, graphic design, IT, or virtually anything else! Come be a part of our team for 4 months, 3 years, or forever. In the years ahead we're working on music, music videos, a new movie, and a new animated series.

The vision of Pamoja Ministries is "discipling cultures through media", and so we are working on creating kids media for television across the region. After a lot of effort, a segment is available as a preview! Feel free to have a look at the sample of "Njia Njema" (Ways of…

Opening Africa's Creative Space

Picture this. You're standing in one of the most remote corners of Tanzania, East Africa, in a place called O'lerumo. Around you are a few bomas (collections of huts) - you're in a Maasai village comprising maybe 200 people, living more or less in a dozen family groupings. There are no cars here. There are no wells here. There is no electricity here. There is no one here with more than a high school education, and even those who have finished elementary school are in the slim minority. You're… Continue
