Breakthrough Progress for the Unreached

All 166 of the 2020 Vision languages have been adopted! These are the languages with one million or more speakers and no indigenous gospel film. Our next goal is to see the next 80 indigenous films produced.

This will be the focus of our Visual Media Strategy Forum in Chang Mai, Thailand on April 8-9 (right after the April 4-7 Eurasia Media and Distribution Conference). Learn more and pre-register here.

I was with Carol and Calvin Conkey (Create International) and hundreds of leaders at the Finishing the Task Conference earlier this month. It was facilitated by Paul Eshleman (I still want to be like him when I grow up) and hosted at Saddleback Church. 511 of the last unengaged, unreached people groups (UUPGs) were adopted. This means there is at least someone committed to finding a way to establish viable churches among that people.

We live in a very exciting time! There is still a long way to go, but I believe we will see churches planted in every people group in my lifetime. Here is a clip of Rick Warren right after the announcement of hundreds of people groups being adopted.
