The vision of Studio Re: is to impact Japanese culture through the Imagination!
"Studio Re:" produces films in a variety of genres that present redemptive content and pose crucial questions. These films seek to affect and change the shape of contemporary Japanese culture and its inhabitants by assuming a biblical paradigm; offering redemption instead of separation, hope instead of resignation, design instead of chaos.
It is a sowing ministry that will prepare the minds and hearts of the Japanese in order to bridge the gap between them and Jesus Christ.
"Jitensha" -- made in collaboration with Biola University -- has gained international recognition. Selected by the Venice (Italy) Film Festival, as well as five other festivals, Jitensha received the “Vision Award” from the Heartland Film Festival. http://jitenshamovie.com/
We have several other exciting productions in process -- including a music video, and a documentary on Black Gospel music in Japan that a major cable channel in the US wants to broadcast.
